When dinner can be served in less than 30 mins, that’s a win for me. This Chicken Fajita Tray Bake is a huge win in our home, making for a quick and easy meal!

This summer has been so busy meaning I haven’t been spending so much time in the kitchen and more time outside exploring with my little squad, aka family! So quick and easy meals have been on our menu… and lots of BBQ and Smoker eats.

A sheet pan meal is a meal that can be cooked on one single sheet pan using all of your ingredients, meaning less work, less mess, and less time spent in the kitchen. Another reason why I am obsessed with this Chicken Fajita Tray Bake.

WHAT GOES IN EASY SHEET PAN FAJITAS

  • Chicken Breast Strips
  • Bell Peppers
  • Onion
  • Fajita Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN FAJITA TRAY BAKE

This Chicken Fajita Tray Bake is so easy to make, like mentioned above 25 minutes and this meal is ready to serve.

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 425 F.
  2. Prepare your bell peppers and onion by thinly slicing length-wise, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Using a large zip-loc bag, add 2 tbsp of olive oil.
  4. Add half of the packet of Fajita seasoning.
  5. Zip it up and toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Prepare your chicken breast by thinly slicing length-wise, about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Using the zip-loc bag filled with the peppers, add 2 tbsp of olive oil.
  8. Add in the sliced chicken
  9. Add the remaining Fajita seasoning mix to the bag.
  10. Toss everything together coating evenly.
  11. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  12. Add chicken and pepper evenly on the tray.
  13. Season with salt and pepper.
  14. Bake for 25 mins, until chicken is cooked through internal temp of 165 F.
  15. Remove from oven and serve.
